Accepting the Criticism: Turning negative into positive

A bit of personnel example: When I got seriously ill and could not  do my gym, I was upset but my wife told me: “Its good you are sick, as your body is getting the rest it needed from heavy workout” You can call the experience many things. but the most common word is positive thinking!

According to dictionary criticism is: “the expression of disapproval of someone or something on the basis of perceived faults or mistakes”. So the major fact in the definition you will get is only the word “disapproval”. No one likes disapproval; everyone is hero in their own movie. Everyone is righteous in their own bible. So when one demonstrates the signs of disapproval through their words or gestures. An invisible wall is created that separates the thought of both the party just like a hero’s ideology is differentiated to the one of the villain in fiction. What is the ultimate outcome of the criticism? We have the first reaction in common is to defend ourselves. If we find the critic a bit harsh the critic is lashed back with complete force.
Other than this basic instinct I have devised some of basic yet effective ways (one at a time) to deal with Adolf Criticism.

Turning Negative into Positive

One of the attribute of successful people are they see goodness in everything. The habit  is commonly said Positive thinking. A bit of personnel example: When I got seriously ill and could not  do my gym, I was upset but my wife told me: “Its good you are sick, as your body is getting the rest it needed from heavy workout”

You can do the same with the criticism as well. Most of the critics are mean and rude, but in most of them you can find the chunk of gold. A piece of advice, a word of suggestion or honest feedback.

Sometimes the critic may have just a bad day and saying everything in a rough way. Often it could be a pride to find the holes in other coats but you could not mend your coat if they did not identify you!

Always seek the point in criticism as a feedback of your doing, analyze your own self, and see it as an opportunity to improve and remember without improvement human race could not be evolved so far. Improvement is a good thing be a part of the campaign by riding on the horse of criticism.
